The other side of prosperity

This is a cartoon I made in 2005 for the local newspaper in Delft; about the contrast between our properity and the existence of socalled "Voedselbanken" which are foodbanks; they hand over food for the poor in Holland; surprisingly enough there are enough of them. The lady coming out of the supermarket says "ooh! I forgot the truffles!"

Artists Fair 2011

Last weekend i was working on the Artists Fair 2011 for Enprofil, the club of portrait artists. I was making digital caricatures, it was nice to see my fellow artists.

Wevershoof, Medemblik en Andijk...samen

Op locatie live cartoons getekend in het kader van de samenvoeging van de gemeenten Medemblik, Wervershoof en Andijk. Was een leuke bijeenkomst waar ik de gevoelens van de ambtenaren optekende in een cartoon; meeste mensen waren niet ontevreden, sommigen, zoals op deze foto, waarschuwde voor het niet onder laten sneeuwen van de leidinggevenden.
Het nieuwe gemeentekantoor is trouwens... het oude DSB hoofdkantoor in Wognum, niet verkeerd zou ik zeggen
